I decided to take a step back in time, so I took a trip to Virginia City. I played “tourist” by visiting interesting boutique and souvenir stores with all types of unique items, the Comstock History Museum, The Old Washoe Club (the city’s oldest club), Silver Sadie’s Old Time Saloon Photos and the Silver Queen Saloon with its 16-foot-tall queen dressed in 3,261 silver dollars totaling 210 pounds of silver. Plan on a full day to visit as there’s lots to see plus great restaurants & saloons!
