When I woke up this morning, it was to the sound of silence… that special quiet you hear when it’s just snowed! I had the jeep loaded with camera equipment and was on the road to the Geiger lookout point a little after 6am. This is a breathtaking viewpoint of the Reno valley. You’re surrounded by rugged, red rock formations as you wind your way up Geiger Road to Virginia City. Be prepared for winter weather and chains required warnings. Enjoy the view and drive safely!
