Last weekend, I visited Nevada’s most recent prehistoric exhibit – the Ice Age Park in North Las Vegas. The Visitor Center is amazing with its huge, projection screen of animated mammals from the Pleistocene era; there are interesting displays about the “Big Dig” and more. Within the 315-acre area, you can explore more history on 3 trails. The fee is only $3.00. It’s only open weekends from 8am to 4:30pm and the gates close once the park has reached capacity. It’s well worth the visit!
