Nevada State Old Time Fiddlers’ Contest Starts Tonight in Eureka!

Held at the historic Eureka Opera House in Eureka, fans can watch the music delights of a “Hot Fiddle Contest, Twin Fiddling and Judges Performance on Friday evening.
On Saturday, Round 1 starts at 9:00 am and Round 2 begins at 1:30 pm. The Nevada State contest is certified by the National Old-Time Fiddlers Association for the following open divisions: Small Fry, Junior-Junior, Junior, Adult, Senior, Senior-Senior, Grand Champion, plus Nevada State Junior and Senior Champions.
This contest has been held at the Eureka Opera House since 2016; 20 years prior, it had been held in Wells, Nevada.
