Showcase your skills and throw down your best tricks at the Diamond Peak Village Terrain Park to win awesome prizes across a variety of categories. The event will be held at Donner Peak Ski Area located at 999 Tahoe Blvd in Incline Village from 9:30am to 3:30pm. After, head to UNR’s Lake Tahoe campus for live music and winter treats!
The Ice Sculpture Competition will be held at Alibi Ale Works from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. Ice carvers, with a maximum of 2 individuals per team, have 5 hours to sculpt their blocks to the theme of Truckee Big Life. The location of Alibi Ale Works is 10069 Bridge St in Truckee and the event is sponsored by the Truckee River Winery. Registrations forms should be emailed to: katy@truckeefamilywines.com.
4:00pm – 7:00pm: Tahoe National Brewing Co. Gelande Quaffe throwing, catching and drinking beer event at 850 N Lake Blvd, Unit 21 in Tahoe City.
5:00pm – 9:00pm: Bridge Tender Fat Friday 3 Point Jam at 65 W Lake Blvd, Tahoe City where teams of 4 will compete in a bracket style tournament shooting hoops.
5:00pm – 10:00pm: Jake’s on the Lake live music and Sushi at 780 N Lake Blvd., Tahoe City.
7:00pm – 11:00pm: Milk Jug Curling Finals at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park at 251 N Lake Blvd in Tahoe City. Join the party at Café Zenon – no tickets required.
8:00pm – 11:00pm: Live music with The Connor Party at the Tahoe National Brewery located at 850 N Lake Blvd in Tahoe City.

Saturday, March 8: Start the day with the North Tahoe PUD Pancake Breakfast at the North Tahoe event center located at 8318 N Lake Blvd, Kings Beach. There’ll be live music along with a delicious breakfast. Register in advance at www.northtahoerecreation.com
Saturday, March 8: The Annual Alaskan Open Snow Golf Tournament is from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Tahoe City Golf Course located at 251 N Lake Blvd in Tahoe City. The fee is $50 per player with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Gateway Mountain Center.
Saturday, March 8: The Kings Beach SNOWFEST Parade will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm. It will start at Secline Street and end at Racoon Street in Kings Beach. Entries for over 30 local community organizations and businesses will feature costumes floats and live music! After, it’s the 3rd annual keg rolling races through an outdoor obstacle course – costumes are given bonus points.
Sunday, March 9: Dogs of all breeds and sizes compete against the clock at the “I-Did-A-Run Dog Race” – a benefit for the Humane Society of Truckee. It will be held at the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort located at 11603 Snowpeak Way in Truckee from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The entry fee is $25 per dog and includes a good bag for each competing dog. In addition, there will be a raffle for participants and spectators with a chance to win great prizes.
Sunday, March 9: The River Ranch Snow Sculpture contest is the closing event of SNOWFEST. It will be held from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the River Ranch Lodge located at 2285 River Rd in Tahoe City.
