On another road trip to Reno, I made my usual stop at the Big Horn Crossing at Walker Lake just outside of Hawthorne and was overjoyed to see Big Horn sheep right at the bottom of the hill. I was surprised to see them as on my last two trips, they were hiding somewhere in the mountains. They’re beautiful to see up close and the Big Horn Crossing is a great place to visit for lunch, dinner and souvenir shopping! Be sure to allow a few extra minutes to make this stop!
