Despite gusting winds up to 40mph+, I braved the weather and headed to Hemenway Park in Boulder City to search for Big Horn sheep. This park can be a great place to spot the beautiful, but deceptive animals, who blend right into the rugged landscape. Is it a boulder or a sheep? Today was a success as I spotted a few making their way down the mountain to bathe in the sun. Just minutes from the Lake Mead Recreational area, this is a great spot for a Sunday picnic and fun at the playground.
