The Nevada Firearms Academy is holding their weekly Intro to Pistol Classes in April and May.

The ‘Where it begins’ Class starts at 11:00am on each Sunday of the month.  There will be a brief PowerPoint that pinpoints the difference in firearms and how they operate. Next, there will be dry drills followed by going to the range where class participants will shoot between 30-50 rounds.

The classes will be completed with a closing discussion.  The cost for the 2-hour class is $75.00 with a $25.00 deposit required.

The NFA is located approximately 30 miles from Reno at 21555 Pyramid Hwy, Reno 89510.  It is conveniently open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.

Located on over 600 acres, the outdoor range offers 420+ shooting platforms with cardboard targets 3 to 200 yards and steel targets 300 to 1776 yards.  The indoor range is 12 yards with 10 active bays.
