Experience all things lavender & honey including event-themed foods, arts & crafts, music, education and even a signature beer at this year’s Sierra Nevada Lavendar & Honey Festival in Reno on July 14.
This regional festival features the best of local farms, local food, independent businesses and the beauty of the Sierra Nevada.
The festival has its roots in a community college where, for more than a decade, the Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute hosted training workshops for farmers including lavender and honey producers. This nonprofit organization’s vision was a lavender & honey festival to celebrate local agriculture; and, that vision came to life in 2017!
Please note: NO pets are allowed, as the City of Reno ordinances prohibits animals except for service dogs at special events.
The hours are 10am to 6pm. For more information, visit: https://www.lavenderandhoneyfest.com.
