Bonneville Speed Week in Wendover

Get ready for some speed at the Bonneville Speed Week in Bonneville Salt Flats from August 3 to 9. Just 15 minutes from Wendover, racers drive hot rods, roadsters, belly tankers, lakesters, motorcycles, streamlines and even diesel trucks to “shoot the salt” in an effort to break records.

Since 1912, speed races have brought competitors and spectators from around the world. During this exciting week, drivers in various race classes will attempt to break record land speeds on the salty terrain.

In addition to watching the races, spectators can walk through the pits, take a close look at the vehicles and event meet the drivers and crew members.  Vendors will offer food and refreshments, memorabilia and protective gear.
