It was my first visit to Reno’s Annual Crystal Festival held at the Reno Convention Center. There was an overwhelming number of booths to visit offering jewelry, individual crystals, rocks of all types and Geodes of all sizes from around the world! The most interesting part was talking to some of the local Nevadan’s who knew special places to go rockhounding and weren’t afraid to share special locations. It was a fun and informative experience, plus I came home with some real unique pieces!
