DESCRIPTION:Slide into day 1 of the Milk Jug Curling Qualifying from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park located at 251 N Lake Blvd in Tahoe City.  Teams of 4 complete to see who can slide their milk jugs across the ice to a target to gain points until one team reaches 15 points.  The finals are on Friday\, March 7. \n \nBuild up for Za’s 9th Annual Clam Bake which will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Za’s Lakefront located at 120 Grove St in Tahoe City.  Purchase tickets directly through Za’s. DESCRIPTION:Join Snowfest’s 43rd Annual Celebration in North Lake Tahoe February 26 through March 9! \nThe Tahoe SNOWFEST Festival offers everything from ski town nightlife to outdoor family-friendly events.  There will be something for all visitors with 40 mountain-town events held in North Lake Tahoe from Wednesday\, February 26 through Sunday\, March! \nThe Festival begins at Garwoods where the Blues Monsters featuring Kendall Naughton will be rocking the night away! \nTickets are available online for $50 or $60 at the door.  They include food\, music\, wet woodies\, beer\, wine and collector edition SNOWFEST beads. \nThe party is from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at Garwoods located at 5000 N Lake Blvd in Carnelian Bay. \n \nFollowing are some of the remaining SNOWFEST Events: \nFriday\, February 28: Benefit the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation at the Valley Throwback Party.  It will be held at the legendary Le Chamois and Loft Bar with a DJ\, drinks and food.  This is the 75th anniversary of the ski area in The Valley. \nThe benefit is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the La Chamois & Loft Bar located at 1960 Olympic Valley Rd in Olympic Valley. \nSaturday\, March 1: There are several exciting events today starting with the Pancake Breakfast held by the North Tahoe Firefighters Association followed by the Tahoe City Street Fair with Firetrucks\, equipment and North Tahoe Fire Department merch for sale.  A delicious way to support the local firefighters with low cost of $10 per adult and $5 per child (under 12). \nThe breakfast will be held from 7:00am to 11:00am at the Tahoe City Fire Station located at 222 Fairway Dr in Tahoe City. \n \nSaturday\, March 1: The Frozen Pickle Pickleball Tournament Cup’s 1st Annual event kicks off at the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  There are three divisions: men’s doubles\, women’s doubles and adult/child doubles and the fees are $60/residents * $80/non-residents. \nThe tournament will be held from 8:00am to 5:00pm at The Boys & Girls Club of Kings Beach which is located at 8125 Steelhead Ave in Kings Beach. \nSaturday\, March 1: Garwood’s Annual Polar Bear Swim starts at 12:00pm and finishes at 4:00pm.  It will be held at Garwoods Grill & Pier on Lake Tahoe located at 500 N Lake Blvd in Carnelian Bay. \nSaturday\, March 1: The festivities continue at the Tahoe City Golf Course with a Firework show accompanied by music with the NOMADS starting at 5:30pm. \nThis is the only fireworks show on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore starting at approximately 7:00pm.  It will take place at the Tahoe City Golf Course located at 251 N Lake Blvd in Tahoe City. \nSunday\, March 2: The Great Ski Race is one of the largest cross-country ski races on a 26km course; and it is the main fundraising event for the Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue Team. \nHosted by the Tahoe XC Center\, the race starts at 9:00am at the XC Center located at 925 Country Club Dr in Tahoe City.  Visit https://thegreatskirace.com for more details. \nSunday\, March 2: The Tahoe City Dog Pull is hosted by Alpine Power Equipment\, benefiting Palisades Avalanche Dogs.  It will be held at the Tahoe City winter sport park (3rd fairway of golf course\, directly behind Pete & Peter’s) from 11:00am to 1:30pm. \n \nSunday\, March 2: Tail Wagger Best Trick Competition will begin immediately following the Dog Pull contest from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. \nSunday\, March 2: The Sunnyside Luau takes place from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Sunnyside Restaurant located at 1850 W Lake Tahoe Blvd in Tahoe City.  Enjoy “Hawaiian Luau” style menu and incredible lake views!  The proceeds benefit the Sierra Community House.  Visit https://www.sunnysidelodge.com/ for more information. \nMonday\, March 3: Za’s 9th Annual Clam Bake will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Za’s Lakefront located at 120 Grove St in Tahoe City.  Purchase tickets directly through Za’s. DESCRIPTION:It’s the PBA World Series of Bowling XVI March 3 to 22 at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno!  The tournaments start daily at 4:00pm. \nThe kickoff date on March 3 starts with practice followed by qualifying rounds March 4 through 11.  March 12 is another practice day followed by championship rounds March 13 through March 20.  The final day of practice is March 21; and the FINALS are on Friday\, March 22 starting at noon! \n     \nThe National Bowling Stadium is the only facility of its kind in the world; it is referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Tenpins.”  Living up to its name\, the Stadium\, featuring 78 lanes\, was designed with the tournament bowler in mind\, but the versatility of the facility allows it to be transformed into several configurations to suit any event including private parties\, business meetings and bowling functions. \n \nEntries for the tournament close February 17\, 2025.  Visit https://pba.com/tournaments/2025/pba-world-series-bowling-xvi for details. \n \n
