The excitement for the largest off-road desert racing series in North America is August 14 to 17. 

Starting in Crystal, just north of Pahrump, and finishing in Dayton just south of Reno, there’s 500+ miles of dust, rocks and glory.

Best in the Desert (BIDT) was founded by Casey Folks in 1984.  There’s a wide variety of classes including cars, trucks, motorcycles, quads and UTVs. 

On race days, BIDT offers a desert racing GPS tracking system that benefits spectators, drivers and teams alike.  It offers live leaderboard updates, real-time location, updates on racers allowing you to keep a close eye on your favorite team.  You can access information from your smart phone with updates every eight minutes.
