The Nevada Firearms Academy & Range (NFA) is located approximately 30 miles from Reno at 21555 Pyramid Hwy, Reno 89510.  It is conveniently open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.   

Located on over 600 acres, the outdoor range offers 420+ shooting platforms with cardboard targets 3 to 200 yards and steel targets 300 to 1776 yards.  The indoor range is 12 yards with 10 active bays.

There are a variety of classes including CCW regular, renewals and Pistol 1; plus, intro to pistol and intro to long range. Visit https://nfareno.com/class-calendar for details.

No reservations are required – it’s a first come first serve basis.  The range fees are very reasonable: Adults: $15 / Seniors: $10 / Children: $5.

Children are welcome to learn gun safety and how to shoot. The NFA is involved with boy and girl scout training.
