There is amazing entertainment at this year’s Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival from June 28 through August 28!  Each event is from 7:30pm to 10:00pm with the gates opening at 5:30pm.

You can enjoy a Shakespeare play, The Merry Wives of Windsor… an uproarious battle of the sexes. Meet the rotund rascal Sir John Falstaff and the wise wives of Windsor in one of Shakespeare’s most raucous comedies. With an ego as big as his voracious appetite, Falstaff conspires to woo the two wealthiest married ladies in town and pocket their riches. However, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page devise a scheme of their own to teach him a well-deserved lesson in Wooing 101.  Feast on a hilariously magnificent treat of monogamously artful deceit.

Celebrate some classic country music with the presentation, Always… Patsy Cline, a musical celebration of the country legend.  Enjoy the touching true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with a fan, Louise Seger, which started in 1961 and continued until the premature death of the renowned country star. Told through Cline’s music, this humorous and heartfelt tribute features 27 songs and many of her unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight.

There are also performances by the Reno Jazz Orchestra Fuego, Boney James: The Prim/Preger Jazz Night, Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Sierra Nevada Ballet.

Brimm’s Catering have curated another awesome array of amazing eats and drinks for the 2024 season. You are invited to arrive early and delight in the deliciousness at Shakespeare’s Kitchen – an alfresco restaurant. Everything is made fresh to accommodate each on-site order! Shakespeare’s Kitchen is open from 5:30pm to 7:20pm and reopens at intermission. 

A Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass is required to gain access to and park at the venue that Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (LTSF) calls home for all events. The $10/per vehicle/per day fee (applies to all vehicles when purchased in advance) is required by Nevada law and may be used to access Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park after 5:00 p.m.
