For some really fast excitement, get ready for the Fastest Gun Alive World Championship of the Cowboy Fast Draw on July 25 through 28!

This is the 22nd year that the Cowboy Fast Draw Association has hosted the championships in Fallon, Nevada, with competitors coming from all over the nation to compete.  Over 275 of the fastest gunslingers, including men, women, juniors and youth, vie for a chance to be named THE FASTEST GUN ALIVE. 

While watching the shooting competition you will see kids as young as 8 years old competing in the Youth Division.  The Youth participants have been highly trained in safety procedures, and are some of the most fun, and most respectful shooters to watch. 

There is no live ammunition – only wax bullets are used in cowboy fast draw competitions and blank cartridges are used in all other events and side matches.    

Ladies and Men competitors duel it out Thursday through Sunday, with the Finals taking place at High Noon on Sunday.  This is some of the most exciting competition you will see!  

In addition to the competitions, there’s additional activities with a car show, craft fair, food vendors and more!
